Having worked in the health sector for 7 years, she has advised on a wide range of workplace matters, including disciplinary processes, performance management, personal grievances, restructuring, and complex termination issues. Her background includes representing employees, negotiating collective employment agreements, and working with unions and employers alike, giving her a balanced understanding of risk, rights, and strategic negotiation.
During her time working in health, Abbey also worked alongside a well-known professional indemnity provider for health care workers and is experienced in dealing with professional bodies and in the insurance context. Abbey brings a calm, confident approach to sensitive matters and is known for clear communication, thorough analysis, and practical guidance that supports fair, lawful, and sustainable outcomes.
Originally from the North Island, Abbey and her young family moved to Queenstown to enjoy everything ski-related and outdoorsy.
